mAyBeLLiNe***

Good day y'all!
I was looking through all the good stuffs on ebay when i suddenly fell in love with this product. Presenting my super loved blusher... Maybelline Naturally Luminous Blush!

This blusher brings out the best look on me. Its good for everyday use because its safe even for sensitive skin. I like how quickly I can make up with this. I've used Bare Minerals and I don't think the color was as natural and I had to work it in a lot more. It may have lasted just a bit longer, but for the price Maybelline does a great job. Your own long handled brush will make application even quicker. If you only have time for this and mascara you're still OK. This is a mineral product from Maybelline, with micro-minerals, it will truly keep your skin from breakouts.

From their website it said...

Why you'll love it:
Mineral Power Naturally Luminous Blush with micro-minerals provides you with a fresh, healthy flush of color.

  • Blends naturally with skin tone
  • Lightweight formula
  • Won’t clog pores
  • Contains 0% oil, 0% talc, 0% preservatives and 0% fragrance
How to apply for a beautiful look:
Dip it: Dip brush into cap.
Tap it: Tap brush to remove excess.
Sweep it: Sweep onto cheeks.

I really recommend this product for all. This blusher is a must have in every kikay bag.
you can purchase this product at any local Maybelline counters at the mall.

This review is based on my personal opinions. I am not endorsing it (maybe a little).

Some people think that dupes are bad things. Oh well for me it is,
except when it comes to my make-up tools. Fake make-up is
dangerous for skin specially if it is not dermatology tested. But brushes
are an exception for that kind danger because simply they are just tools
and you'll never get to wear them all the time (hehehehe). But just make
sure that those dupe tools are cleaned very well. so let me show you
my make-up tools, a dupe of "MAC" (heheheehe).

this set contains the following:

494se- large powder brush (tapered), 150- large powder brush, 129- powder/blush brush, 168- large angled contour brush, 129sh- powder/blush brush (travel size), 190- foundation brush (synthetic), 222- tapered blending brush, 239- eye shader brush, 242- shader brush, 214- short shader brush, 249- large shader brush ( synthetic-for liquid or cream), 213- fluff brush, 263- small angled brush, 252- large shader brush (shadow or emolient-based), 208- angled brow brush, 202- replaceable sponge tip applicator, 194- concealer brush (synthetic), 210- precise eye liner brush, 204- lash brush, 275- medium angled shader brush, 102- brow comb brush, 217- blending brush, 316- lip brush, 205- mascara fan brush
.

Likes:
  • the brushes have good quality though its called as "dupe"
  • they are housed in a good quality faux leather
  • they are available in any online stores
  • sold for a very reasonable price
  • the face brushes are dense and good enough for flawless application
  • they don't shed as much as i expected
  • they don't bleed too much as well.
Dislikes:
  • Sheds a little (but not anymore)
  • Bleeds during the first wash (but not too much)
  • some brushes have black color instead of white
Over all, i say that these brushes are cool. Though many think that these are
not good for someone. Well if you don't want dupes then just ignore the label
on it and think of it as good quality brushes (because they really are).
This set is sold online via multiply of ebay. Why not give these items a shot
when you can get the same quality of brushes paying 1/4th of the real price?

Total Damage: P1,200 (great saving for a great item)

Another concealer that i owned is the Elf tone-correcting concealer.
this is product is another love of mine as its an all day wear, with no running and
no creasing, and it covers my dark-circles so beautifully! I can’t really ask for more
than that. Plus, it heals our dark-circles by neutralizing the dark colors.

Likes:
  • the packaging is cool (its in a glass tube)
  • the product is creamy making it easier for application
  • it neutralizes the dark colors of the under eyes
  • super soft applicator for smooth application
  • very affordable
  • locally available in department stores
Dislikes:
  • the logo of E.L.F. fades
  • nothing else to hate about
I totally recommend this for everyone because it does have
a good quality for a very cheap price. This product is available at
our local malls. Also available at their website here.

One element that a make-up addict must have is a concealer as
this product takes the stress and tired-looking face away from your look.
Concealers play a big role for a make-up addict for this item is
an everyday bestfriend, the thing that you shouldn't leave home
without, the thing that I can't leave home without. presenting, my
revlon colorstay concealer!

(picture taken from google)

When Revlon used the word "Colorstay" they weren't kidding at all. Ü
It does cover my facial color imperfections like dark-circles, nose and
mouth redness. Its my everyday companion.

Likes:
  • Covers up my color imperfection
  • Did cure my blemishes
  • Easy to blend
  • Buildable for a total coverage
Dislikes:
  • Pricey (well i can't blame them, its REVLON Ü)
  • Not really available locally
I must say that its a cool concealer. It does its job really well
as it covers my dark-circles really well. But i've read some
reviews saying that this product causes breakouts for sensitive
skins. Oh well, as long as i don't have breakouts, its ok with me.
But still ladies, be careful and discontinue use if your skin starts to
breakout.
(i'll show you soon how my face will look if applied with products i use ) Ü

This is my first setting powder that i bought from Ayala Canter Cebu
(a local mall here in Cebu). As i was strolling inside the
cosmetics corner of the department store, i saw products from Nichido. One
of the products that attracted me the most was their Nichido Loose Powder.

Ingredients: talc, zinc oxide, zinc stearate, titanium dioxide, kaolin,
magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, perfume.

How to's:
for a light coverage, apply with a kabuki brush or any kind of
brush that you're comfortable with.
for a sheer coverage, apply with a powder puff applicator.

Likes:
  • goes with my natural color
  • "buildable" coverage
  • safe for everyday use
  • mattifies the face after using liquid foundation and concealer
  • very affordable
  • available all over the Philippines
  • sifter contains a lot of product.
Dislikes:
  • skin becomes oily after 3-4 hours
  • the more you put on the more obvious and unnatural it will become
  • not really waterproof
  • doesn't have SPF

I don't really recommend this product if you go through a lot of activities
that will cause sweat to come off the face as this product will slide
out all over your face causing it to appear like a grease ball.
But i do think it's OK to use this for special occasions like indoor parties
where temperature is cooler.
Another thing for all, some people think that local cosmetics bands here in
Philippines doesn't have good quality at all. well for me i say that our cosmetic
lines are safe for us and they have better quality than you think.
i mean, you can trust these products as much as you trust international
branded products. Lets give our local products a chance y'all. Ü

Total Damage: P187.00 (not that bad)

FiRsT BruShEs ThAt I GoT***

From the first month that i got addicted with make-up, i was
first attracted with its tools, with brushes specifically.
While i was surfing the net and searched for some online make-up
stores, i was flourished with the products they sell. One of the items
they sell are these Bare Naturals Deluxe Set. The brushes are so
soft that it feels like heaven on my skin.

Likes:
  • super soft hairs
  • animal cruelty free brushes
  • didn't bleed at all
  • short and portable
  • ferrule and handle have gold color
  • has a nature friendly jute pouch
  • very affordable
  • made from synthetic hair
  • safe for sensitive skins
  • available here in the Philippines
Dislikes:
  • it sheds a little every wash
  • its too pretty to use hahaha

(from L-R) Stippling brush, Foundation brush, Concealer brush, Eye shading brush

my thoughts for each brushes:

Stippling brush = the brush is soft, dense and versatile. Good enough
for my liquid foundation, mineral powder and mineral
blushers. This is the only brush that sheds among
the rest.
Foundation brush= my fave among the bunch of foundation brushes that i
have. Performs much better than expected. Creates
flawless look by using criss-cross application.
Concealer brush= Does the job well for concealing using cream and powder
concealers that i have.
Eye shading brush= i don't really use this for eyeshadow application because
this is too big, i use this for blending and sweeping away
eyeshadow fall outs.

Over all, they are pure love for me! Ü
I totally recommend this brush set for all because sensitive skinned or not
you can still use them because they are safe and made from synthetic hairs.
They are available at barenaturals.com

My HoMe BFF***

My pet Havie!! As seen above, Havie is a dog... I love having him around my house
because wherever i go, He is always there, a guard dog rather than a toy dog as you
may consider. But as cute as he may look, I've got a problem with him. You wanna
know what problem i got with him? One word for this... "HYPER!!"
This little fella tends to rush through things inside our house due to excitement and
i think sugar rush (he eats all the sweeties i give him except for chocolates which i'm
too greedy to give some.). When i enter the house gates from school, He welcomes me
with his signature act (dancing in excitement, shaking like crazy and moving both his
arms while standing.).

I love looking at him while he's weearing his cute little outfits, well i just got two
little shirts for him colored yellow and purple with a flower designs on it.
I think its OK to dress him with those, i remembered my mom saying "don't worry if
you got a male chihuahua, we can still dress him with girl's dress, nobody will notice."
And she's pretty right with what she said, i mean, all my classmates thought that
Havie's a girl! ahahaaha... so much for now guys and gals! Till next time! ciao!
